NEW YEAR, NEW SPIRITUAL BUSINESS
Well it’s the start of a new year and the heat is ON!
Is it going to be another year of wishes and dreams… or is this going to be the year you finally take the first steps on your journey of becoming a successful spiritual entrepreneur?
This could be the year that changes everything.
If this stresses you out a little… let’s see what we can do to take some of the pressure off.
First things first, remember that January 1st doesn’t have any significant power or magical meaning connected to your success. It was just another Tuesday. Totally ordinary in every way. The sun rose and set, people lived their lives, birds pooped… the whole deal.
Sidebar: the new year (according to my astrologer) is actually tied to the Spring Equinox… which means you’ve got until March 20th to get your spiritual business plans in gear.
That’s plenty of time!
Next up, let’s talk about your game plan. In order to get started, you’ve got to know two things: where you are now… and where you want to be. For a lot of people starting out, it’s hard to figure out how to answer those two questions in a clear and certain way.
First one’s a little easier. Where you are is where you are. It’s not a race, it’s not a contest, and there’s no measure other than your own. No matter what’s happened… your past experiences, your limiting beliefs, your weaknesses, your fears… it’s all part of your journey.
Second, is figuring out where you want to be. This part can be fun if you’re connected to your imagination and sense of adventure, but it can be a challenge if you get distracted by all of the totally practical reasons why you shouldn’t do it.
Here are a few questions to help narrow it down: Are you an energy healer or lightworker? A Psychic, Medium, or Intuitive? A tarot card reader? Do you want to work with a specific group of people? Animals? How about writing a book? Speaking on stage? Teaching? When do you want to be doing this? How much money do you want to make? How successful or famous do you want to become?
It’s also important to remember that everyone who’s anyone in the spiritual industry started exactly where you are now… with a special gift, a powerful message, and a vision of how beautiful the world could someday be.
And that world is full of people who’ve been waiting and searching for exactly you.
